Ralph ‘Dinz’ Dinsley
A 32 year veteran of the RAF with 16 years in monitoring of outer space. This includes satellite tracking, space situational awareness, domain awareness, and operational management.
As an Aerospace Battle Manager, his role included national air defence, close air support and managing multi–domain operations from the control room.
Dinz’ roles in the RAF included Staff Officer for Space Situational Awareness and Staff Officer for Space Operations.
At RAF Fylingdales, Dinz was responsible for managing the civilian contractors involved in the operation; thus working across the military and business divide.
In all of his work, Dinz has raised awareness of space and developed training for operators.
Qualified in leadership (Chartered Management Institute) and project management (PRINCE2 Practitioner), Dinz has the necessary skillset to orchestrate significant policy improvements, successfully engaging with UK and international military, government and industry.
Passionate about ensuring sustainable access to space for all who need it and extremely keen to explore emerging opportunities supporting the international space community.
Currently working on EU funded projects and advising on de-orbiting and on understanding how objects behave in space.
